Brand, marketing and Queen Letizia

Blanca Mayoral founded Lend the Label with 17 dresses, €3,000 and her parents' help to pay for the website. A biotechnologist by training, she left the pharmaceutical labs to create what is today the leading dress-rental platform in Spain. Along the way: her partner and best friend left at the worst moment, she was kicked out of the office with no money to pay the deposit, she spent €3,000 on a dress that didn't make it into the photos, and she dressed Queen Letizia twice without even trying.
